Jamie is a specialist in biomimicry and environmental design consultant. He has a Ph.D. in engineering and focuses his work on transforming the way that we integrate into nature by reframing our collective perspective of nature. He applies this focus as a consultant in habitat and landscape designs and through the development of Biomimicry Incubator Spaces, which link complex industrial problems with academic research consortiums. The focus of the Incubator Spaces is to create jobs for the next generation – through biological emulation. As a member of Biomimicry 3.8’s Speakers Bureau, Jamie also provides lectures and workshops on biomimicry theory and methodology in a variety of sectors and contexts.
