Overview

In this activity students explore data from a study of cellular respiration. Outside of class, students prepare for the exercise by viewing a video and taking a brief online quiz. In class, they are provided with a table of results and work in groups to answer a series of questions.

Instructional Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • List the stages of cellular respiration
  • Explain each stage of cellular respiration
  • Identify where ATP is made in the cell
  • Critically analyze data collected using the scientific method
