Engaged Community of Teachers - Student Engagement through Classroom Management

What does classroom management look like in a cegep context? How can you set expectations for attendance and participation? How can you address disruptive behaviour in class…and what should you do about phones? In this session, we will introduce three elements to successful classroom management and discuss how each can be implemented in your classroom to create a comfortable space for learning.

Open to: Aimed at early career teachers (teachers in their first five years of cegep teaching) but open to all levels of experience, educational roles and institutions.
