- Date: November 2–3, 2020
- Live webcast from the Quebec City Convention Centre

The COVID-19 health situation has pushed distance education to the forefront. Quebec’s academic community has taken up the challenge, and continues to face it on a daily basis.
The symposium Numérique 2020 | Journées du numérique en enseignement supérieur will be held on November 2 and 3 this year. It’s an opportunity to share experiences from all over the province from the past few months, and to learn more about various aspects of distance education. More than 60 speakers from Quebec and elsewhere in the world – researchers, instructors and professors, educational consultants, e-pedagogic project leads, managers, tutors and digital strategists – will deliver presentations and host roundtables and workshops. They will discuss digital technology in education from the perspectives of emerging trends and the integration of technology into practice, as well as distance education, of course, and institutional transformation.
The Trophées du numérique competition will also be held in conjunction with this symposium. This event showcases the in-depth experience acquired by designers and managers of the best projects using digital technology in education. For more details: tropheesdunumerique.teluq.ca. Both events are organized by Université TÉLUQ, with financial support from the ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur. They will be held remotely, in French and English. Access to the speaker sessions is free. Because space is limited, registration is required.
