Webinar – Hybrid Classrooms: Tackling a New Normal Post-2020
February 17 @ 11:00 - 12:00
Colloquially, hybrid classrooms are defined as learning environments that include a mix of students present in the physical classroom as well as students joining in virtually. While not exactly a new phenomenon, the turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has put this education model into overdrive, with many educational institutions having already converted, or in the process of converting, their classrooms into hybrid environments.
However, the hybrid classroom comes with its own set of challenges and new experiences for faculty and students alike. Splitting the student body into two effectively creates two classrooms — one physical and one virtual — with the onus on faculty to keep the two in sync.
‘Hybrid Classrooms: Tackling a New Normal Post-2020’ brings together faculty who have worked with and/or prepared to tackle hybrid classrooms, to discuss their experiences and takeaways. Join us for fireside chats with our speakers who will discuss how they prepared for the arrival of hybrid classrooms at their institutions, the challenges they faced in planning and execution, and the steps they took to overcome the same.
Please note: The session will be recorded. If you can’t make the time of the live event, please be sure to register anyway and we will send you the recording to watch at your convenience.
