Active learning is a term that is thrown around a lot, but what does it really mean and what does it look like when well implemented? In this session, we will explain the active learning approach and show how it can be used to guide your choices as you design your courses, plan your lessons, and work with your students. We will provide concrete examples and will discuss how you can take an active learning approach in your own course, starting small and working your way up.

Pop-in for as little or as long as you are available. Although designed for teachers in their first few years of CEGEP teaching, this session is open to anyone interested; staff, admin, and faculty from all levels of experience are welcome.

Open to: Aimed at early career teachers (teachers in their first five years of cegep teaching) but open to all levels of experience, educational roles and institutions.

Mode: Online via Teams
