About this event

This interactive workshop introduces participants to the art of Blackout Poetry, a wonderful tool for enhancing students’ transversal competencies, such as critical thinking, creativity, and emotional expression. Participants will learn how to guide students in creating their own Blackout Poems to foster a deeper connection with their required readings.

By engaging in this artistic process, students can develop a personal and meaningful relationship with the material, enhance their comprehension and retention, and deepen their concentration skills. All while having fun!

Open to: Aimed at early career teachers (teachers in their first five years of cegep teaching) but open to all levels of experience, educational roles and institutions.
