Early Career Teacher Sessions - End of Semester Grading and Feedback Tips for Efficiency and Learning

Marking is often at the top of teachers’ list of “Least Favourite Tasks.” The most common complaints are:

1. “It takes too much time”
2. “My students don’t read my feedback anyway.”

In this session, we will share ways to provide feedback and grade that save time and support continued learning, while working towards the bigger picture of consistency, transparency and equity. Bring your questions, concerns and ideas for this interactive session.

Open to: Aimed at early career teachers (teachers in their first five years of cegep teaching) but open to all levels of experience, educational roles and institutions.
