EdDev SIG Meeting (Sep)

09-19-19 @ 14:00 - 16:00

The Educational Developers Special Interest Group (EdDev SIG) meets during the academic year (September – June) to discuss a range of relevant pedagogical topics and issues, share expertise, exchange resources, collaborate on projects of common interest.

We are looking forward to our first gathering on Sept. 19th!

This promises to be an engaging event for all attendees with lightning talks and breakout group sessions.

The theme will be:  Students as Partners

The speakers will discuss their model for course revision that involved students, faculty, and staff as co-designers in the development of active learning strategies for large STEM courses. This McGill project was funded by a grant offered by the AAU-STEM Education Network to re-design large freshman classes.
