Videos - Liquid Mountaineering and Mythbusters

The whole class watches Liquid Mountaineering, a short video about running on water, after which, in teams, students discuss whether the video is real or a hoax and justify their decision in writing using their prior knowledge of science. After completing a worksheet that teaches them how to balance forces and helps them come to the conclusion that humans can’t stand on water, the class watches part of a Mythbusters episode in which they bust the Liquid video.
