Projects:

Rhys’ projects include the design and implementation of workshops on engagement in the teaching and learning of physics; Physics Education Research (PER); and, understanding the pedagogical benefits of student-led research initiatives at the CEGEP level. Rhys is interested is Faculty Professional Development at the domestic and International level.

  1. Implementation of Active Learning Strategies
    Strategies include: Flipped Classroom, Peer InstructionReflective Writing, and the use of Student-generated Videos/Photos.
  2. Development of Activities and new Question Types for Educational Technology
    Platforms include: myDALITE, Visual Classrooms, SMART Amp
  3. Photonics based research
Including mentoring student research and photonics outreach
